If you are the Manager of a Team, your Team members' expenses will be assigned to you for approval before they can be exported to the company accounting software.
To use the RIPA Expenses web application to view any outstanding expenses that need approval by you, firstly log in to RIPA Expenses, and use the left hand menu to navigate to Approvals.
This view gives a list of all expenses waiting to be approved by you. You can see a high-level summary of what the expense relates to from this screen, and if this is sufficient to make a decision to approve an expense, this can be done simply be clicking the green tick icon on the right hand side of the screen.
The expense that has been approved will disappear from the Needs Review view, and will now sit in the Approved filter tab.
Alternatively, if as a Manager you want to see more detail about an expense, you can click anywhere on the expense from the list of Needs Review, and you'll be shown a greater level of detail, as below.
If you are happy to approve the expense, you can click on the blue Approve button within this screen.
